The Investments initiative of the ALPFA Boston Chapter will be a dedicated programming initiative contributing to the career enhancement of professionals in wealth, investment, and risk management. The financial crisis of 2008 and current European dynamics have perturbed markets creating unprecedented volatility. Outlook uncertainty remains high in a world of accommodative monetary policy. The speakers will focus on describing current global macroeconomic trends and opportunities to achieve excess return across several asset classes, covering both the traditional and alternative strategies.

• NECB/ALPFA will review entries and pick a winner. The scholarship will be presented to the recipient at ALPFA’s event taking place on Thursday, March 22, 2012
• The winner will receive a full scholarship for the graduate degree of his/her choice.

NECB is also extending tuition discounts to all ALPFA members of up to 25% toward the completion of an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree at NECB. The tuition discount and credit transfer offer is extended to any ALPFA member and his/her immediate family members.
